As well as the main results table and graph, there are other results displays that can be accessed by right-clicking on the results table. From OSCAM Ship v8.3 onwards, several new displays are available.

Summary Sand Chart

The Summary Sand Chart displays stacked bar chart showing costs each year with the top-level CAPE element costs stacked in each bar. There are options to expand Maintenance costs into the 2nd level of detail and to include Non-O&S and Disposal costs, There is also the option to display non-cost information as a line graph on a dual scale on the chart.  It is also possible to change the graph title and sub-title (via a right-click menu).

All settings will be remembered during the session for each results set, and can also be stored in a Workspace file (saved and loaded using the Save and Load Wizards respectively) that allows you to save your session and recreate it later.

Summary Sand Chart options can be set as a default for displaying any new charts so that you can set up a standard display. You can still change the settings from the default for individual results sets.

Pie Chart

The Pie Chart shows a breakdown of total O&S costs by top-level CAPE category. You have the option of including Disposal costs as a category (option is grayed out if there are no disposal costs) and to display values as $M or percentages. You can also configure the display by rotating the Pie Chart and you can drag-and-drop slice labels around to deal with any overlaps. You can also change the title and set a sub-title via a right-click menu.

The display options and titles will be remembered for each results set during the session and will also be saved in a Workspace file.

Color of Money table

Each lowest level results line is associated with an inflation category and each Throughput line is allocated an inflation category. This information can be used to determine the appropriation category (Color of Money) for each cost result. This is used to construct a Color of Money table that shows annual costs broken down by appropriation category. You have the option of including or excluding Non-O&S costs from the table.
